Lesaffre: Video Editing and Adaptation

•

Lesaffre already had a library of finished videos and shot footage. In 2026 the brand needed that material working in new places: a different market, a trade show, and a post event recap. iCookAsia Digital handled three editing and adaptation jobs across the year, each built from assets that already existed rather than a new shoot.

Project Overview

  • Client: Lesaffre Asia Pacific
  • Period: three jobs across one year
  • Projects: three video editing and adaptation jobs
  • Scope: market adaptation, trade show video edit, post event recap edit, and supporting graphics
  • Source material: existing Lesaffre videos, client supplied footage and product images

Strategic Objective

  • Get more value from video assets Lesaffre already owned
  • Adapt existing technical content for a new market without reshooting
  • Produce a short video suited to a trade show audience
  • Turn event footage into a recap that extends the life of the event

What We Did

  • Australian market adaptation. We took the “Exploring Different Types of Bakers Yeast” technical video from Lesaffre’s earlier series and adapted it for the Australian market, with a new intro and outro, client supplied compressed yeast product images and upscaled graphics. Approved in February 2026.
  • FHA 2026 trade show edit. Lesaffre supplied four videos, one brand film and three product videos. We proposed a 30 second edit flow, aligned the structure with the client before cutting, and delivered the final version in February 2026.
  • Post event recap edit. After the show we cut a recap video from the event material, through two rounds of client review in May 2026.

How We Worked

  • Structure agreed before the edit. For the trade show video we shared the proposed 30 second flow and had the edit direction approved before cutting, which kept revisions down.
  • Design built around existing footage. Intros, outros and product graphics were designed to sit with material that was already shot, so the adapted video still reads as part of the same series.
  • Reuse rather than reshoot. Every job started from assets Lesaffre already held, which kept cost and turnaround well below new production.
  • Short turnarounds. The trade show edit went from scope confirmation to final version in under three weeks.
